Introduction!

Hi there!

I thought it was time for me to start blogging again. The title of this blog comes from things that I like to do.

I'm a Quality Assurance Engineer with a little over 10 years of experience in the Seattle area.  I've been dabbling with learning Front-End Development on and off for the last couple of years. I've recently been diving back in and refreshing my skills through Codecademy and Lynda.com. I love to bake, with all of its measurements and precision - but also like to try my hand at cooking various recipes from time to time.

I'll be posting my escapades here and hope you find them entertaining!

Resource guide for women in tech events.

I've been meaning to put out a resource guide for women in tech events for at least three years. Even though my wireframes aren't ready and the list isn't filled out, I've finally gone and published a straight HTML page. Everyone always asks me how I know about all these events. Geeking at home.
